World Yoga Day Festival Illawarra
Time & Location
About the Event
To celebrate World Yoga Day this year we will be hosting an event over two days. Join me on Sunday 23rd June at 9:50-10:50am for a Kundalini practise for renewal.
On the Saturday evening you are invited to join us for an introduction to and a celebration of the Indian culture. Discover Indian food, dance, song and culture as well as take a virtual trip to India through a short presentation of fellow travellers most cherished experiences. Learn a little bit of Indian dance and eat a delicious meal prepared by our traditional Indian Chef, Pramila Chaturvedi.
Sunday commences at 8am with a welcome to country and greetings from the Lord Mayer. From 9am - we yoga!
We have hand picked a wide variety of teachers and presenters to showcase the richness and collective wisdom of our local yoga community across the Illawarra.
Each of the 40 minute sessions will represent a wide variety of yoga, spirituality, movement, health and wellness whilst catering to all different ages, levels, and body types. On our extensive time table over two practice areas you can expect to find classical hatha yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, Yoga for limited mobility, womb yoga, holistic healing, vinyasa yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda and holistic health and wellness
This event will be updated with the timetable and list of teachers presenting over the coming weeks and months. So please share this event with your networks and stay tuned for what is set to be the biggest yoga event that we have ever hosted here in the Illawarra!
