About the event
This three hour workshop focuses on alleviating the common menopause related symptoms of Hot Flushes & Hot Emotions using yoga postures, breathwork, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
Menopause is a natural transition that every woman will move through. As we move towards menopause our hormone levels start to fluctuate. These changing levels in hormones affect every cell in the body including the brain, and can lead to excess heat in our body, manifesting as Hot Flushes & Hot Emotions including sudden changes in mood, irritability and "menorage."
These changes we face can cause fear and uncertainty, we will work to find acceptance, soothe this fear, tension and stress, and calm the nervous system.
You are not alone in this, We will explore techniques and options to alleviate these symptoms and minimize the fluctuations and disruption and find equilibrium.
You will be held in a women's circle with a caring community…
