Menopause Half Day Workshop
This five hour workshop focuses on common menopause symptoms of Anxiety, overwhelm, fatigue and sleep. You will learn tools and techniques to manage these including yoga, breathwork, meditation, acupressure, relaxation techniques and Australian Bush Flower Essences.

About the Event
This 5 hour woman's gathering focuses on alleviating Anxiety, Fatigue, Overwhelm and sleep issues that commonly arise during perimenopause, continue through menopause and sometimes beyond. We will explore yoga postures, breathwork, face yoga, acupressure points, meditation, and relaxation techniques to provide simple tools you can have at your disposal for use at any time you require them.
We will also touch on nutrition, natural supplements and HRT and medical options available so you can find the best solution for your individual situation. Menopause is a natural transition that every woman will move through. Menopause is a natural transition that every woman will move through.
You will be held in a women's circle with a caring community of women who are all moving through this rite of passage as well, enabling you to share your experiences and challenges with those who can relate.
Lunch and nibbles will be provided.
We will explore tools we can use to navigate these changing waters, including techniques to specifically address anxiety, fatigue, overwhelm and sleep issues.
We will use yoga poses & props, as needed, to make the practise accessible to all. The techniques we will cover include:
-physical yoga postures
-Australian Bush Flower Essences
The aim of this half day workshop is to provide you with take home tools & techniques that you can use as needed to relieve anxiety & overwhelm, aid sleep, restore, heal, stretch, destress and relax body, mind and soul as you move through this time of transition. It is a time of upheaval, just as the teenage years are, but a time that is not so openly discussed, celebrated or accepted. It is a time when women go through a shedding and reevaluate their focus and goals.
Suitable for all levels of ability and practise, beginners welcome.
Booking is essential. Please advise your teacher if you are pregnant or have any injuries. Dress in comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. For your comfort leave at least an hour gap between a large meal and coming to class.
Please bring a pillow case to class if you would like a hygenic bolster cover. You are welcome to bring your yoga mat and 2 blankets to class if you prefer to use your own.
