About the event

Menopause is a natural transition, a journey that every woman will take. Join me to celebrate and explore this major life transition toward the age of wisdom. 

This six-week course is designed to address the common challenges that arise during this transition using yoga postures, breathwork, meditation, and relaxation techniques. You will be in a caring community of women who are all moving through this rite of passage as well, enabling you to share your experiences and challenges with those who can relate. 

Like our teenage years, we are transitioning into the unknown, a new phase, with major changes and growing pains. It is the death of our past life, our past identity; this can bring up resistance and a desire to hold onto how things were. Instead, we need to trust and let go, reframe our new incarnation and the changes and freedoms it brings. We will explore and celebrate this major physical and spiritual transformation, identify the areas we need to grow and those that we need to release to move forward with grace and confidence.

We will explore tools we can use to navigate these changing waters, including techniques to minimize the waves experienced during Perimenopause and beyond including:-

-Hot flashes.

-Stress and unexplained anxiety

-Trouble sleeping (insomnia).

-Emotional turbulence and mood swings

-Weight gain 

We will use nourishing yoga poses & props, as needed, along with breathing techniques, meditation practises and relaxation techniques to restore, heal, stretch, destress and relax body, mind and soul.  

We will build on what we have learned every week and deepen our understanding and practise as we move through the course, consolidating as we go. There will be a 1 - 3 minute practise given each week to be practised at home. The home practises can be performed individually or combined together. By the end of the course, you will have an effective home practise, under 30 minutes a day, that will build week by week and is yours to keep.

All welcome. Suitable for all levels of ability and practise, beginners welcome. Bookings essential.
